Ajman University Wins Silver in Table Tennis Championship

Ajman University of Science and Technology’s Ping-Pong team has won silver medal of the UAE Higher Education Sports Federation’s Table Tennis Championship. The tournament was held in Sharjah and saw wide participation from various universities and academic institutions around the Emirates. The event was marked by stiff and thrilling competition among the participating teams, which pleased the vast crowd of fans and supporters who flock in to enjoy the game.

AUST and Al Jazeera University made it through to the finals after defeating the University of Sharjah and American University of Sharjah respectively in the semi-finals. AUST’s winning pair consisted of students Ahmad Al-Saadi and Mohammed Abdulfattah from the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

The Department of Student Affairs congratulated the two players on clenching this wonderful championship. The winners also praised the support and encouragement Ajman University offers to different kinds of student sporting activities.
