Ajman University Students Visit ISNR

The Student Affairs Department at Ajman University of Science & Technology organized an informative trip for 30 students to the International Exhibition for Security and National Resilience (ISNR), held in Abu Dhabi.

AUST students flew on a chartered plane, provided by the Exhibition, from the Dubai Airport to Al Bateen Airport in Abu Dhabi. Accompanying them was the activity supervisor Mr. Saleem Derbas.

Students were enthralled with the live security show provided by K-7 teams. Security dogs astonished the visitors with their training, which gives them the amazing ability not only to pursue or charge their targets but also to detect explosives and drugs.

AUST delegation was also given a lively presentation on how to respond to emergencies and crises and handle “post-traumatic stress”. To cite an example they presented an earthquake in a city, followed by fires and various other incidents and gave demonstrations on how to tackle these situations.

Workshops of occupational hazards and safety at work were organized on the sidelines of the exhibition. Also on display were the latest security and surveillance technologies and equipment.
