AUST AT TAWEYA 2014

Community Service Department at Ajman University of Science & Technology participated in the national exhibition for society awareness and humanitarian services popularly known as Taweya 2014. Held under the patronage of Abu Dhabi Police Authority at ADNEC Abu Dhabi it witnessed a significant contribution from many public and private organizations. The main aim was to promote the society awareness in UAE nationals and residents, and spreading the culture of volunteering establishment and initiatives in the society.

AUST has always been a vanguard at humanitarian initiatives and awareness campaigns in order to instill the spirit of compassion and humankind in the students.  Since its inception the Community Services department strives to provide an ideal platform of opportunities for university students to experience these benefits and to learn to give back to society. Students and graduates alike benefit from these initiatives in building a thriving career and overcoming the hurdles in this achievement.

AUST has actively participated in the exhibition for the last two consecutive years. The pavilion at the exhibition witnessed an overwhelming response by visitors both local and expatriates. It boasted free dental check-ups for the visitors along with workshops on the sidelines for First Aid and Cardiovascular Pulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Students and graduates were keen on getting more information with regards to the community service initiatives offered by AUST.
