Ajman University pays tribute to the spirit of Motherhood

Students Council at Ajman University commemorated the International Women Day and Mother’s Day by organizing a trip to Khalifa Hospital and touring Ajman University Campus giving away love-filled surprises. During the tour they visited the maternity and neonatal ward and distributed roses and gifts to the patients.

The hospital management and staff extended a warm welcome to the members of the student council and briefed them about the operations of the hospital. The members were delighted and expressed their sheer joy at being able to celebrate these important days with the most influential personality in one’s life – Mother. Nevertheless, they also pointed out that the spirit of motherhood should be celebrated every day, every moment, not once a year.

In the same spirit of celebration, the student council members distributed sweets and roses to the mothers at Ajman University both staff and faculty members. This noble initiative by the Department of Community Service celebrated Mothers Day with the mothers in Ajman University, where Student Council expressed their appreciation to the working mother and her role in the family and the society at large. It’s truly noble and humbling to see how she manage her time between work and family. It was a pleasant surprise to receive such appreciation and a token of love from the University by the students expressed the staff and faculty members.
