Ajman University Students Learn the Art of Money Management

An interactive seminar was held at Ajman University of Science and Technology, entitled "Be smart in managing your money," it was jointly organized by the Department of Student Affairs and the College of Business Administration in cooperation with Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank.

The seminar was presented by Mr. Hassan Ali Al Nowais,  Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, it was attended by 200 students from various Colleges of the University. It dealt with the ways of savings students can adopt by using their funds optimally and by focusing their expenditure on what they need rather than what they want.

The seminar mainly aimed at educating young people about financial management of their incomes in such a way that enables them to meet the challenges of the future through establishing a balance between income and expenditure.

Mr. Hassan also elaborated on the situations and crisis that may arise from poor management of the resources. The importance of the right financial decision was highlighted to make the students aware. The students had an interesting question and answer  session and put forth their concerns regarding money matters.

It is noteworthy that the Department of Student Affairs by organizing such seminars seminars is training the students and increasing their awareness and perceptions on issues apart from the academia. Their awareness on such matters will eventually enable them to contribute positively to the community.
