Ajman University Welcomes Freshmen Second Semester 2014-2015
Ajman University extended a warm welcome to the freshmen joining in the second semester of the academic year 2014-2015. The colleges that received the new students were the Colleges of Engineering, Law, Education & Basic Sciences, Business Management, Information, Media and Humanities and Information Technology.
College Deans and Faculty members wished the students’ years of success on their academic journey ahead. Colleges ensure that the latest technology and scientific knowledge is available for the students to learn from and keep abreast of the trends in the job market.
During the orientation the students were briefed about the college policies and infrastructure. They were introduced to their academic advisors who would guide them throughout their academic tenure at the University; they would ensure the registration of the courses is a smooth process for the students.
The students took a tour of the campus which will be their home for the rest of their academic life at the University. They were shown the facilities and services offered for their recreation and studying purpose. The students begin their classes on the 1st of February which also marks the beginning of the week for add and drop of courses.
Ajman University is home to numerous nationalities of students who feel at home in an environment of innovation and knowledge. It strives to ensure a balance between academia and practical that the students will reap the benefit off when they graduate.
