College of Dentistry at Oral Health Conference

College of Dentistry at Ajman University of Science & Technology participated in the International Conference and Exhibition of Dentistry 2015. Themed “Exploring the new challenges towards better oral health care”  Dentistry-2015 was organized by the American Medical Event Organizer OMICS Group in Dubai.

Dr Kamis Gaballah, Associate Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, represented the college in this event by chairing all scientific sessions of day 1 and presented a talk entitled: Minimizing the injury to the Inferior alveolar nerve during the surgical removal of lower wisdom teeth: A  systematic approach. The lecture generated long and broad discussion by audiences who came for more than twenty countries to take part in this scientific event.

 this international scientific conference on Dentistry aims to enrich the field of dentistry by introducing new advances in the field of research and treatment and by presenting the latest technologies that will help all those working in this field to advance their knowledge in the above-mentioned aspects.

Dr Gaballah’s contribution was under the banner of Ajman University in the scientific organizing committee along with experts from USA, UK, Switzerland, Canada and Italy. It is worthy to mention that Dr kamis Gaballah is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in both Ireland and England and  associate of the UK council of higher education and was a clinical lecturer in oral and maxillofacial surgery in university of London before joining Ajman University in 2009.
