Fujairah campus celebrates 44th UAE National Day

Under the generous patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Al-Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah and in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Rashid Bin Hamad Al-Sharqi, Chairman of Fujairah Culture & Media Authority, Ajman University of Science & Technology organized its annual celebration of the UAE National Day at the University's Fujairah Campus.

The festivities got underway with His Highness Sheikh Dr. Rashid Bin Hamad Al-Sharqi leading the flag march, with those taking part including Mr. Osama Salman, Vice President, Ajman University and Mr. Saeed Mohammed Al-Raqbani, Special Advisor to His Highness the Ruler of Fujairah, many local department chiefs and community leaders, in addition to the hundreds of University students, faculty and staff.

After attending the array of activities and ceremonies at the multi-purpose hall, including speeches and documentaries celebrating the themes of innovation and martyrdom, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Rashid Bin Hamad Al-Sharqi conducted a tour of the exhibitions on the sidelines the National Day's main events. These comprised the Emirates Innovation Week Exhibition, the Commemoration Day Exhibition, and the Heritage Exhibition.

Earlier, the University's Campus Director, Prof. Ali Abu El-Nour, had addressed the gathering at the Festivities Hall, drawing on the themes symbolized by the National Day celebration, especially those related to the solidarity of the UAE's community, the allegiance and loyalty to the wise leadership, and the sacrifices of the UAE's victorious army.
