His Highness Abdullah bin Zayed honored Ajman University at "Think Science" Award Ceremony

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister honored Mr. Abdulla Salman Assistant to Vice-President as a representative of Ajman University of Science and Technology for the achievements and contribution of the university in Think Science competition 2015. The awarding ceremony was held under the patronage of His Highness in Al Eithad Towers in Abu Dhabi.

In his speech at  the ceremony, His Highness appreciated the creativity, the enormous efforts, and the capacity of the young people of UAE and their capabilities of using modern science and technology to find innovative solutions of societal challenges and to create a better future for the new generations.

Abdullah Saeed Salman stressed on the commitment of Ajman University of Science and Technology to support innovative projects of the outstanding students and promising talent as the best investment for building the next generation of scientists who will effectively contribute to build a brighter future of the United Arab Emirates. He added that the projects presented by Ajman University Students promote the culture of innovation in all area of life and translate the vision of the UAE government that 2015 is the year of innovation.  He congratulated the students from the College of Engineering-Fujairah Campus for their achievements and outstanding representation during the contest and wished them further success.

It is worth mentioning that Ajman University of Science and Technology has been selected as an active contributor to Think Science 2015 due to the large and diverse number of projects made by students, which reached eleven scientific project. Five of these projects were nominated as finalists and each project of them was financially awarded with 4000 AED for the completion of their innovative projects in the best way they like.
