Self-Development Seminar for Expected Graduates

Alumni Association at Ajman University of Science & Technology organized an educational seminar entitled "How to introduce myself to the labor market” for the graduating students of the academic year 2014-2015. This seminar comes in line with the vision of the University to ensure the students upon graduating enter into the practical life equipped with the necessary skills to be abreast of the market.

Dr.  Khalid Al Khaja, Dean of the Faculty of Media and Information and Humanities delivered the seminar outlining the importance of self-development on the way to join the labor market and how to ensure your skills are wanted by the employers. He explained that the first step on the ladder of success is to know your abilities and weaknesses.

Forty expected graduates attended the seminar and acquired the necessary knowledge from the expert. An introductory presentation was delivered by Ms. Rana Kalm, Alumni Officer who explained the role and objectives of the Alumni Association. She gave details on the communication process between the Ajman University alumni and the association,  that caters to their social and professional development through the various services it offers.

After the seminar certificates of attendance were distributed by Dr. Ahmed Ankit, and a certificate of appreciation was awarded to Dr. Khalid Al Khaja for his cooperation with the Alumni Association.

The students expressed their happiness to participate at such events offered by the alumni association which encourage and provide the graduates with confidence to take the step forward into their practical life.
