Three Gold and Two Bronze bagged by Ajman University Students in Karate Championship

Ajman University of Science & Technology students did the University proud by bringing home 3 gold and 2 bronze medals at the Karate Championship held at the sports complex housed in University of Sharjah. It was organized by the Sports Federation of Higher Education Institutes and witnessed a remarkable participation by the leading university of the UAE.

In the under 60kg category student, Muaz Mohammed in the Electronics Engineering Department secured the gold. While his fellow student from the College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences, Osama Ahmed secured the Gold Medal in the 70kg category.

The third gold was secured by Abdul Rahman Issam Awad, College of Dentistry who won the tiltle in the under 80kg category.

The two bronze were secured by Jaber Al Nasr and Mohammed Karim, both hailing from the Collegeof Engineering. While other students impressive performance was praised by the audience and judges alike.

Ajman University encourages its students to aim and achieve higher, they provide comprehensive support to the student trough the infrastructure and other facilities.
