Italian Architect Manfredi Nicoletti Lectures at Ajman University

 The Architectural Engineering Department of the College of Engineering at Ajman University of Science and Technology organized recently a workshop attended by a group of world-renowned architects including Italy’s prominent architect Manfredi Nicoletti.

The 5-day workshop was attended by architectural engineering students and faculty members from AUST. During this event, AUST Architectural Department organized an exhibition of Necoletti’s flagship projects which he completed in several parts of the globe.

On the margin of this exhibition, Necoletti delivered a lecture themed “Towards Organic Architecture”, in which he addressed the components of a successful architect, the importance of heritage preservation and environment protection amid the incessant developments in architectural technology.

Prof. Fahar Hayati, Dean of the Engineering College at AUST expressed his great pleasure in receiving a worldwide renowned architecture figure such as Mr. Manfredi Nicoletti, adding that: "We are honored by this visit which we believe will have a great impression on our students and will infuse in them further enthusiasm and self confidence." The dean also commended the valuable lecture and advice Mr. Nicoletti gave to the students.

Moreover and in coordination with AUST College of Engineering, Nicoletti gave another lecture in the Architectural Heritage Department in Dubai Municipality, accompanied by an exposition of his best architectural creations.

AUST architecture students and faculty have commended the initiative of the Engineering College deanship for allowing them direct contact with such prominent architect and thanked Mr. Nicoletti and his assistants for helping them hone their practical skills and confidence.

Worth noting, architect Manfredi Nicoletti and the others were very appreciative of the competence level demonstrated by AUST architecture students and the architectural designs they displayed during the workshop.
