AUST Alumni & Lecturer Recognized for her Contribution to Engineering

Engineer. Tazeen Sharif, Lecturer at the College of Engineering at Ajman University of Science and Technology and IEEE UAE Ambassador was recently selected as the recipient of Honorable Mention for Global WIE Inspiring Young Professional Award 2016 in United States of America.

The IEEE WIEC (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers’ Women in Engineering Committee) selected Eng. Tazeen, the purpose of this global award is to recognize her efforts and contribution.

They applauded her hard work that has had a personal impact on the community through the projects and activities. These were directed towards fulfilling the WIE goals and objectives. They praised her, “You have clearly embodied this purpose and WIEC is pleased to recognize you “for substantive leadership, unconditional dedication, exemplary contribution to IEEE Women in Engineering activities, and laudable contribution in implementing community service projects which support and meet the goals of advancing technology for humanity.”

Ajman University and the College of Engineering applaud her achievement and commend her on this wonderful feat.
