Students Distribute Cold Drinks to Workers

A group of students from Ajman University of Science and Technology volunteered in the “Nabrid Aala Qulobihim” (coolness upon their hearts) campaign undertaken by the volunteer group “We are at your service, My Country”. The aim of this campaign was to distribute cold water, drinks and fruits to the workers who toil under the sun for us.

The volunteering male and female students visited the construction sites in the industrial areas in the Emirates of Ajman. Ms. Asma Al Shamsi, Manager, Student Affairs Department at the University stressed that “the voluntary service towards our community is derived from our Islamic values and is instilled in our culture by the wise leader late His Highness Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, May Allah have mercy upon him, he and all our leaders have been a role model to all the sons and daughters of this land”.

The Student Affairs department has a special club for the volunteering students wherein they participate in various events and campaigns to serve the community positively.
