Women in Leadership Icon Visits Ajman University

Ajman University had the pleasure to host Ms. Monique Morrow on campus, the chief Technology Officer with CISCO was in town to participate in “Women in Leadership Economic” forum in Dubai.  Dr. Abdul Haq Al Nuaimi, Vice Chancellor for Development and Communication welcomed her along with Prof. Fahr Hayati, Dean College of Engineering, Dr. Haroon Al Riyalat, Dean College of Information Technology, Dr. Mohammed Al Shami, Dean College of Business Administration and Ms. Tazeen Sharif, Lecturer at the College of Engineering.

They exchanged insightful views on the current trends in the exciting world of technology along with its biases and impartialities. The transgenerational learning opportunities that are complementary to the millennial trends was also discussed in light of different experiences of present. Ms. Monique has authored a book along with numerous researches and regularly reviews patents.

Her contribution exceeds the norms solely because she wants to empower the future generation to think and act beyond the constraints of any tangible barriers. She showed explicit interest on the methods of teaching especially at Ajman University campus. Various avenues of mutual cooperation were also discussed wherein students visit to the silicon valley and CISCO was also proposed amongst joint researches and others.

She later toured the College of Information Technology and Engineering and visited the University facilities that ensure a comprehensive and conducive environment for the students during their educational tenure at Ajman University.
