AU Students Trained on Advanced Community Media Skills

Ajman University has organized an important workshop on "Advanced Community Media Skills in Government Institutions" involving interactive and hands-on training.

The timely session, organized by the Department of Sociology at the College of Humanities and Sciences, was delivered by Dr. Obaid Saleh Al-Khattin, an academic researcher, University of Sharjah.

The lecture, aimed to hone the practical skills of participating female students, saw the presence of the dean and professors of sociology and around 40 sociology students.

The workshop featured relevant uses and applications of community media in social media and search engines that have introduced the world to "community media".

Dr. Khattin shed light on the optimal utilization of these virtual platforms and best ways to develop a sound corporate reputation environment.

“This will help obtain a positive mental imagery of the organization amongst its audience, boost and maintain its business continuity.”
