Sheikh Rashid Orders More Discounts on Engineering Disciplines at Ajman University
Ajman University (AU), in a bid to meet the needs of labour market in the UAE, is to offer more discounts on a number of engineering disciplines.
Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Ajman Municipality and Planning Department, Deputy Chairman of AU Board of Trustees, and Chairman of AU Board Executive Committee, has instructed these discounts during a visit to Sheikh Zayed Center for Conferences & Exhibition, AU.
“The move is aimed to encourage more high school graduates to join these much-needed programs, spanning civil, mechanical and construction engineering, and construction management.”
Meanwhile, a detailed presentation was given to Sheikh Rashid on the admission process of new students, and Ajman University relevant initiatives, offers, and discounts on registration and tuition fees.
A full waiver on registration fees has been given to new students as part of several open days held recently at Ajman University. This waiver spans the College of Law, College of Engineering and Information Technology, College of Architecture, Art and Design, College of Business Administration, and College of Humanities and Sciences.
Up to 30% discount on tuition fees has been provided for new students who wish to join the College of Mass Communication, and a 20% discount on tuition fees has also been offered to high school graduates with a CGPA of 90% and above joining the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
A special discount of 50% on tuition fees for the first semester of the academic year 2019-2020 has been offered to AU alumni who wish to resume their graduate studies in an array of programs.
Sheikh Rashid paid tributes to Ajman University board of trustees for their tireless effort to keep improving the quality of the educational process, and adopting the latest technologies in admission and registration process.
Ajman University offers scholarships and discounts to high school toppers in the UAE and in Ajman, high school graduates with high CGPA, best achievers in AU colleges, employees of local and federal departments in Ajman, people of determination, graduates of British high schools and graduates of Indian and Pakistani high schools, leave alone the first-class relatives of AU employees.
