Ajman University Holds First Remote Discussion of Master Degree

The College of Law at Ajman University (AU), given the ongoing Covid-19 health challenges, has organized its first remote discussion of a master's degree submitted by Emirati researcher Iman Jasim Al Hammadi.

The thesis, titled: “The importance of applying total quality management in public administration, is an applied study on the Ras Al Khaimah Department of Economic Development.

The online discussion held on April 23, 2020, witnessed Dr. Mouhammad Alhussein, a Professor of Public Administration at the College of Law, AU, President and Supervisor.

Also present were Dr. Abdesselam Salmi, a Professor of Public Law at the College of Law, AU, and Dr. Abdulrahman Al Shayeb Al Naqbi, Director General of the Ras Al Khaimah Department of Economic Development.

The discussion was partially attended by Dr. Laroussi Chemlali, Dean of the College of Law, and Dr. Riad Saleh Abou Elatta, Head of Public Law Department at the College of Law, AU.

In her presentation, Al Hammadi talked about the importance of applying total quality management in government administration and applying the same to the Ras Al Khaimah Department of Economic Development.

Using survey as a tool to collect the data needed, Al Hammadi tracked and analyzed the Department staff and clients and came up with a set of valuable recommendations that will help the department improve its quality and corporate excellence.

Al Hammadi, who obtained a Bachelor degree with honors in law from the College of Law at Ajman University, was awarded a master's degree in public law with honors. She has also completed her Master’s degree courses with honors as well.
