Ajman University (AU), as is the case every year, has honored its brilliant students in research over the academic year 2019-2020.

The 3rd AU Students’ Research Day, organized virtually on June 7, 2020 by the Deanship of Graduate Studies and Research, saw the presence of Karim Seghir, Ph.D., AU Chancellor, Prof. Khaled Al Saleh, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Prof. Kamran Arshad, Dean of Graduate Studies & Research.

Also present were the Deans of the Colleges of Medicine, Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Dentistry, Architecture, Art, and Design, Engineering and Information Technology, Law, Mass Communication, Humanities and Sciences, and Business Administration.

The winning researches covered several vital topics related to daily life, including smart learning (College of Business Administration), an emergency system for motorists with heart diseases, and a smart system for measuring nutrition (College of Engineering and Information Technology), hate speeches on social media networks, Japanese cartoon films and their media and social dimensions ( College of Mass Communication), self-medication practices in the UAE (College of Pharmacy), and medicinal plants and sustainable development (College of Architecture, Art and Design).

Ajman University is so keen on utilizing scientific research in handling and fixing real life issues. This priority strategy is ardently adopted and applied by AU faculty in all colleges and disciplines.
