AU Among Best 150 Universities in the World Under 50 Years Old

Ajman University has achieved a new achievement in addition to the previous recent achievements. AU has been selected among the top 150 academic institutions under the age of 50 years, according to QS World University Rankings. The list included 8 institutions of higher education in the UAE and 16 universities in the Arab world.

AU chancellor Dr. Karim Seghir said: "We received this prestigious ranking after we were recognized on an international level. In May, for the first time ever, AU was ranked among the top 1000 universities globally which puts us in the top 3% of universities worldwide and the top 2% in the Arab region"

Dr. Karim stressed that this achievement was the result of the unlimited support of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ajman University, and the fruitful efforts of the university employees and the distinguished efforts exerted at various levels, which strengthens the university's status to be ranked among the best universities locally, regionally and globally.

AU’s achievement is also that of the Emirate of Ajman. In May, based on QS World University Rankings the Dubai/Sharjah/Ajman region was ranked 61st among the world’s best destinations for university students, the highest ranked location in the Arab world.
