College of Pharmacy Honors Outstanding Faculty Members

The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Ajman University held an honoring ceremony to the faculty members and administrators who were rewarded for their participation and achievements in international conferences and various activities.

Prof.  Nageeb Hassan, the Dean, thanked them for their great efforts and outstanding participation in the international conferences, activities and other events.

Dr. Samir Bloukh and Dr. Zehra Edis of the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Ajman University were rewarded for their participation in the Fifth International Conference of Applied Chemistry and won the Best Research Award for their research entitled "Synthesis and Antimicrobial Activity of Copper Iodide Nanoparticles".

Mr. Ahmed Khattab, a faculty member at the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Ajman University, was rewarded for achieving first place in the "Art for Health 2018" competition - film category. His film reflects the story of a person representing a large segment of a society, which consume fat-rich meals and calories in general, and fast food in particular.

Graduated Scholarship Research Assistant in the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Ajman University, Sham Zain Alabdin was rewarded in the 12th Dubai International Food Safety Conference held on 31st of October 2018.

Her poster, supervised by Dr. Moayad Shahwan entitled “Knowledge and Practice of Dietary Supplements and Micronutrients among Medical Students at Ajman University”, won the second place in the best poster presentation competition.
