Course Description

This course intends to inform and provide the dental student with sufficient knowledge on indications, techniques used in pharmachological methods of child's management including sedation and GA in management of anxious children. This course will also provide the fourth year dental student the team aproach for the management of cleft lip & palate child at the level of the undergraduate students, dental management of special health care need children. They are also taught interceptive orthodontic methods in a growing child. Child abuse and neglect are discussed in relation to pediatric dentistry.
