The purpose of the course is to apply the general principles of removable appliance design and to gain practical competence in the construction of a range of removable orthodontic appliances. The student will be able to apply materials science principles to the design and construction of orthodontic appliances. This course will also include practical sessions on direct bonding and wire placement exercises using typodonts.
