This course provides a comprehensive foundation in the etiology and classification of malocclusion. It focuses on understanding the normal development of occlusion and the multifactorial causes of malocclusion, including genetic, environmental, and functional factors. The students will learn to interpret clinical features and diagnostic indicators associated with various malocclusions, and the differentiation between developmental and acquired etiologies to inform accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
