This course constitutes the second phase of the thesis component in the Master of Clinical Dentistry in Prosthodontics (MClinDent – Prosthodontics) program. At this stage, students are expected to have obtained ethical approval, if required, and to conduct a pilot study to assess the feasibility and appropriateness of the selected methodology and materials.
Any challenges encountered during the pilot study must be critically evaluated, and proposed amendments to the research design should be clearly justified based on pilot findings and current literature. This course supports the refinement of the research protocol and prepares students for the successful execution of the main thesis project.
