Professor Raghad Hashim is Professor of Dental Public Health and Oral Epidemiology at Ajman University, where she has served since 2000. She holds a Ph.D. in Dental Public Health and Oral Epidemiology and a Master's degree in Community Dentistry from the University of Otago, New Zealand. Her research focuses on child oral health, preventive dentistry, oral epidemiology, dental trauma, and public health, with more than 61 peer-reviewed publications and a strong international citation record. She previously served as Head of the Growth & Development Department for over a decade, leading academic quality, curriculum development, and accreditation initiatives. Professor Hashim has received numerous prestigious national and international research awards, including multiple H.H. Sheikh Rashid Bin Humaid Awards for Distinguished Medical Research and the Arab Dental Faculties Award. She has contributed to national oral health policy through the UAE National Oral Health Committee and continues to provide academic leadership through research mentorship, editorial activities, and professional service.
