Cost Accountants have important roles in decision making process that typically involve technical issues involving cost analysis, cost control and planning. Cost accounting provides useful information that will lead to the best decision on production and performance evaluation. This course offers intermediate level of cost accounting concepts and techniques, calculation of manufacturing costs and overhead allocations methods. Special emphasis on marginal and absorption costing while the final part covers variance analysis.
