The field of finance is intertwined with Accounting, Economics and Capital Markets. Finance is built around the selection of the right capital structure, bearable and affordable cost of capital, proper allocation of financial resources and proper source and timing for fund raising. Financial Management and Control (FMC) includes a set of methods and techniques for managing finance in a systematic, efficient, transparent and lawful manner. The application of these methods and techniques provides information to decision makers. Within this context, the FMC as a capstone course, will address in depth the intertwined relationship between financial management and financial control.
