Course Description

Student shall register for this course upon completion of 102 credit hours. In this course, student shall undertake and complete a research project. A supervisor will be assigned to each group of students to guide them in undertaking research project. In addition to the supervision by the supervisor, an intensive or crash course in accounting research methodology coupled with specially tailored SPSS training sessions shall be conducted in five sessions. This intensive course covers various aspects of research methodology that will enable students to conduct research projects and preparing them to write and present research papers. These include research design (including sampling design, measurement and scales), sources and collection of data (primary and secondary data), statistical analysis and presentation of data as well as report writing (both written and oral).
