The course is concerned with efficient and effective transformation of input- raw materials, personnel, machines, technology, capital, information, and other resources- into marketable and competitive output. This course will introduce students to the main principles, standards and methodologies of production and operation management. Several topics will be covered will emphasize the importance of properly managed manufacturing, supply chain or service operations as a competitive tool.
