Course Description
This course provides knowledge about aesthetic culture through history, and its relationship to fine arts
and literature, by studying the definitions of aesthetics, the philosophy of art and its aesthetic value. It
deals with the most important theories of aesthetic philosophers since Greek era, through the Middle
Ages among Europeans and Arabs, and the problems of modern aesthetics in light of globalization.
