Course Description
This is a specialized course of the Human Resources Management discipline which focuses on introducing the students to the rudimentary principles and skills of recruiting and selecting the people asset of organization. More specifically, students will be educated about the various aspects, approaches and strategies used for job analysis and workplace requirements, planning for staffing needs, and recruitment and selection. The most important topics covered in this course include job analysis, recruitment, selection, performance appraisal, and performance management. Last, but not the least, this course will give an opportunity to the students to understand the various instruments of recruitment and selection including Job Analysis, Techniques of Screening and Interviewing job candidates, Reference checks, Testing, Orientation and Onboarding etc.
