Developing Assessment Items: MCQs and SAQs Workshop

College of Medicine organized a faculty development workshop on  “Developing Assessment Items” on 10^th November 2019, facilitated by a guest speaker, Prof. Shahid Shamim, Professor of Surgery and Ad. Director Health Professionals Education, Dow University of Health Sciences, Karachi, Pakistan.  

The workshop was attended by all the College faculty members who are involved in teaching and assessment of undergraduate medical students. The goals of the workshop were to clarify participants’ understanding regarding assessment and the effective use of MCQ and SAQ in assessment, enhance their skills for developing assessment items and empower them to identify flaws in assessment items.
