Course Description

The course introduces the students to the basic psychology of designing spaces that deals with human occupancy. The study of the interaction between human behavior and physical environment enable the students to examine perception and cognition, cultural differences in spatial context, proxemics and the role of values in the design of the interior environment. Focusing on socio-psychology and aesthetics, students analyze all other aspects of human behavior in the interior atmosphere to design comfortable environment for the end user.
