Lec. Hadil Albustami is a lecturer of Interior Design at Ajman University of Science & Technology (AUST). She received a Bachelors’s degree in Interior Design from Ajman University and then went on to complete an MSc in Sustainable Design of the Built Environment from The British University in Dubai (BUiD). She has worked previously at AUST as a Teaching Assistant since 2005 and is now a lecturer at AUST teaching Design, Freehand drawing, Sustainable Design & Technical Studies. Her research is situated in the field of sustainable design in the built environments, with a special focus on Interior design, Sustainable design, Indoor air quality, sustainable built environments, and Biomimicry. She teaches Design, Sustainability, Freehand Drawing, Coloring, Perspective drawing and Working Drawing drafting. Lec. Hadil organized several workshops: • She was the main organizer in the Sustainable Summer School 2012 at the British University in Dubai. • Organizing the Annual Interior Design Exhibition at Ajman University 2014. • Supervisor in AU Students club fair 2017 • Organizing the Westminster-AU Design Summer School 2017. • Schools Outreach Program workshop at AU 2018. • Organizing the Interior Design week 2020.
