Brief: To paraphrase Sheikh Zayed : Our future is based on living our present and referring to our past. Preserving the properties presenting values as tangible or intangible objects is one of our tasks to highlight our identity and to sustain such values to the other generations and civilizations. These properties are defined by their spatial organization leading us to appreciate the sense of the spaces. Our guest, through some cases in the U.A.E and mainly in Dubai, will allow us to debate about the significance of the places giving sense to these properties and seen as the receptacle of different cultures. The values of these properties will be discussed by using the Burra Charter as one of the tools for their impact in the historical and cultural developments.
