Ajman University’s Department of Architecture, Art, and Design Welcomes UAEU Experts as Jurors for Second-Year Reviews

Ajman University proudly welcomed a distinguished team from the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) as external jurors for the second-year architecture design reviews. The jurors were invited to evaluate the final projects of second-year students, led by Dr. Muna Salameh and Ms. Ayat. The studio focused on the design of sustainable school buildings, emphasizing climate-responsive strategies, spatial innovation, and community integration.

The visiting team included:

• Prof. Khaled Galal Ahmed, Coordinator of the MSc & PhD Programs in Architectural Engineering – College of Engineering, UAEU
• Dr. Maatouk Khoukhi, Associate Professor in Architectural Engineering,- Department of Architecture- UAEU

The jurors expressed their admiration for the high quality of work, noting the strong conceptual development, excellent design articulation, and innovative sustainable solutions demonstrated by the students. Their feedback recognized the department's commitment to fostering environmentally responsible and forward-thinking architectural education.
