Dr. Muna Salameh was invited to serve as a jury member for the final presentations of Studio 2 – Design & the Human at Canadian University Dubai on Friday, May 9, 2025. Hosted in the HUB building at their City Walk campus, Studio 2 challenged architecture and interior-design students to conceive a “dwelling as human refuge”—a multi-functional space that accommodates living, working, socializing, and play.

As part of the distinguished panel, Dr. Salameh evaluated submissions on contextual analysis, spatial innovation, sustainability integration, and clarity of presentation. “I was impressed by the rigor and creativity displayed,” she noted. “These students have demonstrated a strong grasp of human-centered design and sustainable strategies in modest-scale projects.”
