Emirates Green Building Council’s 14th Annual Congress, under the theme: “Mission to 1.5°C: Be Bold on Buildings.”

The Architecture Department, led by Dr. Muna Salameh, showcased innovative student work focused on climate-resilient architecture, highlighting solutions that support climate action in the built environment. The exhibition featured designs of sustainable school buildings and pavilions that provide shaded outdoor environments—essential for thermal comfort in the UAE’s hot climate.

Dr. Muna guided a student team composed of Farah and Jana, who presented their sustainable architectural proposals with creativity and professionalism. Their work reflects a deep understanding of environmental challenges and a commitment to future-forward design thinking.
