DBA Program at CBA hosted two orientation sessions for DBA candidates

The DBA program at the College of Business Administration has organized two orientation sessions for AU MBA students and interested candidates on March 18 and March 25, 2022, to give a comprehensive view of the CBA DBA program.

Delivered by Prof. Tamer Elshandidy, DBA Program Director, the first session aimed to introduce the program regarding entry requirements, courses, study plan, fees, and related procedures, while the second session focused on making candidates interact and listen to CBA current DBA students who shared their own experiences with the audience.

Both sessions were praised very much by the candidates, who enjoyed and benefited a lot from insightful information about the program. Most importantly, potential students enjoyed the knowledge shared with them by our current DBA students, especially concerning how to set up the right expectation when joining a demanding program such as AU’s DBA, how to manage multitasking activities, given a candidate's experience and background, along with their work and family responsibilities.

The candidates expressed their appreciation and gratitude for the well-organized and detailed orientation session, in addition to Ajman University’s commitment and courage to invest in expensive yet crucial cutting edge, state-of-the-art high techs and global data systems like the DataStream and Statistical Software.
