CBA Excellence Awards 2025

Ajman University’s College of Business Administration hosted the CBA Excellence Awards 2025 on May 23rd, 2025, to celebrate the outstanding achievements and dedicated service of its faculty and staff during the academic year.

 

Dean Prof. Gerard Prendergast opened the event by recognizing the collective efforts of the entire CBA community in contributing to another successful year for the college. He emphasized that excellence at CBA is driven by teamwork, innovation, and student-centered services, stressing that these collective efforts have led to remarkable achievements in development, accreditation, and the launch of new programs across the college.

 

Prof. Gerard personally introduced each award recipient, highlighting their individual contributions and impact on the college’s mission and growth before presenting them with certificates of recognition.

 

The awards ceremony was followed by a collegial gathering, where faculty and staff enjoyed lunch and conversations, reinforcing the strong sense of community within CBA.

 

The 2025 honorees are:

 

Faculty Excellence in Teaching Award – Prof. Rajesh Mohnot

 

Faculty Excellence in Research Award – Prof. Guangming Cao

 

Faculty Excellence in Service Award – Prof. Tamer Elshandidy

 

Excellence in Internationalization Award – Ms. Kiran Zafar

 

Instructor Excellence Award – Mr. Fares Alhomsi

 

Adjunct Faculty Excellence Award – Dr. Maged Saad, Dr. Syed Aftab

 

Administrative Excellence Award – Mr. Abdalghani Abdallah

 

Support Service Excellence Award - Mr. Abdul Kareem Achapully
