Professor Gerard Prendergast Recognized as Professor Emeritus by HKBU

Professor Gerard Prendergast, Dean of the College of Business Administration, has been conferred the title of Professor Emeritus by Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), in recognition of his distinguished service, academic excellence, and outstanding contributions to the university and the broader scholarly community.

 

Professor Prendergast, who served the School of Business at HKBU for nearly three decades, has played a pivotal role in advancing the fields of marketing and business education. His academic career at the university was marked by exemplary teaching, impactful research, and dedicated leadership. He is widely recognized for his scholarly work in consumer behavior, advertising, and marketing communications, which has been published in leading international journals. Professor Prendergast plans to use his continued connection with HKBU to facilitate collaborative opportunities for Ajman University.
