Dr. Mohamed Jasim Mohiedeen, Assistant Professor in the Department of Management and Marketing at the College of Business Administration, participated in and was recognized as a Fellow in the Experiential Educator Fellowship offered by How to Change the World, held on 24 April, 8 May, and 22 May 2026.
Through this fellowship, Dr. Mohiedeen gained valuable insights into advanced and specialized methodologies for designing and delivering experiential learning. Key areas of focus included the articulation of clear and measurable learning objectives, structuring of coherent learning journeys and the application of scaffolding techniques to progressively develop learner competence. The program also explored strategies for the effective scaling (massification) of experiential learning initiatives, ensuring that high-impact, practice-oriented education can be implemented across larger student cohorts without compromising quality. Overall, the fellowship provided meaningful professional development in innovative pedagogical approaches, strengthening the integration of experiential and outcome-based learning within higher education practice.
