Professor Tarek Mohamed is a Professor of Product Design Visualization by Computer at the College of Mass Communication, Ajman University, United Arab Emirates, specializing in visualizing 2D and 3D designs using computer techniques. Tarek moved to Germany to pursue a Ph.D. in the field of Utilization of Computers in product and visual Design." After earning his Ph.D., Professor Tarek worked at several Saudi Arabian universities, including King Khalid University and Al Qassim University, where he contributed to the departments of Art Pedagogy and Visualization, Educational Technology, Computer Science, and Design. He later became the Head of the Computer and Design Department and was promoted to Full Professor of 3D Product Design Visualization in 2009. Later, He joined Ajman University as a faculty member in the Graphic Design Department, where he continues to teach and innovate in the field. He has authored numerous books on topics such as Product Design, Design by Computer, Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Interactive Design, Virtual Reality, and Modern Technology. His work in these areas has made significant contributions to both the academic and practical fields of design. His research papers, focusing on product design, graphic design, visual communication, and Media Design, have been published in international conferences and journals indexed by Scopus (Q1, Q2). Professor Tarek's academic and professional journey has taken him across Germany, Egypt, the USA, Japan, Turkey, Kuwait, the UAE, the Netherlands, Spain, Greece, and France... where he has lectured and conducted research. He received a Microsoft Azure grant for his research project titled "Applying Health Criteria in Everyday and Visual Product Design ...... He is an active reviewer and editor for several international journals.
