Sharjah Government Media Bureau Honoring Mass Communication students as “Shadowing Program Ambassadors”

The College of Mass Communication continue the cooperation with all UAE institutions, hence, the College Internship program was coordinated with the "Sharjah Government Media Bureau" for the Third Year.  In that context, Dr. Hossam Salama the College dean asserted that the College students benefit a lot from this internship opportunity, as it supports them with many important practical skills for the labor market and allows them to become distinguished media professionals who can compete strongly. Moreover, Mrs. Aisha Al Kaabi, the Executive Coordinator of the Program coined that Four students from the College were honored as “Shadowing Program Ambassadors” for the Year 2021, and they were honored with medals bearing the title "Professional Shadow Program"; Where the students "Afraa Al-Shehhi" and "Mohammed Khalil" from the Radio and Television specialization, and the students "Ahmed Al-Yasy" and "Anas Al-Awadi" from the Public Relations and Advertising specialization were honored. Dr. Dina Elkhattat, the training coordinator at the College of Mass Communication, explained that 72 students from various disciplines have been trained, till now since the first edition of the “Shadowing Program” in 2019, and asserted that the program workshops, and its practical professional duties, enhances our students’ practical experiences before graduation and to be capable of the labor market requirements.
