College of Mass Communication Hosts Nanyang Technological University Delegation to Explore Avenues of Collaboration

 Ajman University’s College of Mass Communication welcomed a delegation from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. The delegation included Prof. Jack Qiu, Chair and Shaw Foundation Professor of Media Technology, and Dr. Choy Kiyoung Lee from the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information. Nanyang Technological University is ranked 12th globally, and the Wee Kim Wee School is ranked 4th worldwide in Communication and Media Studies, according to the QS 2026 rankings.

The visit aimed to explore potential avenues of collaboration in joint research, student and faculty exchange, and the development of innovative academic initiatives that further enhance excellence in media and communication education.

The meeting was attended by several members of the College, including Dr. Emad Omar and Prof. Sammy Lee. The visit was coordinated and attended by Dr. Safa Osman and Dr. Alya Anter, whose efforts in organizing this productive meeting helped open new horizons for collaboration between the two institutions.
