Course Description

This 6-credit hour, semester-long course is offered during semester 3 of the premed Year 2 and covers topics in general anatomy, histology, embryology and general/cell physiology. The course dissects the structure and function of cardiovascular system (6 weeks), respiratory system (2 weeks), renal system (4 weeks), and gastrointestinal system (4 Weeks). The key instructional strategies will include large group interactive lecturing, and small group team-based learning.
