Dean's Message

Welcome to the College of Medicine at Ajman University!

As the Acting Dean of the College of Medicine, I am delighted to introduce you to an MD program that combines academic excellence, innovation, research, and a strong student-centric approach to medical education. Since its establishment in 2018, the College has been committed to preparing knowledgeable, clinically competent, compassionate, and adaptable future physicians ready to meet the evolving needs of healthcare locally and globally.

Our program offers a six-year MD pathway for high school graduates, comprising two years of pre-medical studies, two years of pre-clerkship education, and two years of intensive clinical training. We also offer a graduate-entry, North American-style four-year MD program. Throughout their education, students benefit from active learning, mentorship, simulation and clinical skills training, and opportunities for leadership and professional development.

Our extensive network of affiliated hospitals, including Sheikh Khalifa Hospitals Network, Amina Hospital, Saudi German Hospitals, and Emirates Health Services Hospitals, provides students with diverse clinical experiences across a wide range of specialties. International elective, clinical, and research opportunities in countries including the USA, UK, Canada, Sweden, Malaysia, and India further enrich their educational experience.

We are proud of our students' recent achievements in local and international licensing and qualifying examinations, including the EMREE, USMLE, IFOM, and PLAB, as well as their encouraging residency match outcomes across a range of specialties. These achievements reflect the quality of our education and our graduates' readiness to pursue postgraduate training both in the UAE and internationally.

Innovation is central to our educational mission. We embrace emerging technologies, including AI, simulation, digital learning, and data-driven education, while fostering a strong culture of research and scholarly engagement. The College is proud to contribute to Ajman University's growing national and international reputation, reflected in its global rankings, research productivity, international partnerships, and academic impact.
