The course offer students an insight into pharmacy and medicines management with the emphasis on evidence-based practice. Students will be introduced to the concepts of pharmacy practice, risk assessment, health promotion and clinical governance. Course comprises the following unit:
- international pharmacy practice;
- Evidence based medicine and critical appraisal
- Clinical practice and formularies guidelines
- Pharmacy management
- Prescribing with the view of patient’s age (elderly, pediatrics), patient’s clinical situation (pregnancy, liver or renal disease) and morbidity or adverse drug reactions.
- Public health and health promotion.
