Testimonials

I want to be a pharmacist! That was my answer to the question that many people ask to small kids about what they want to be in the future. Being a pharmacist has been my dream since I entered school and it remained until I graduated from it. So, I was an eighteen years old girl who wanted from inside of her heart to achieve her dream in being a pharmacist, but this dream was a little bit hard to achieve because I live in Abudhabi with my family and to reach my goal I had to leave my family and go and live alone in Ajman university’s hostel, because after asking a lot of people and searching online I have found that this university affords one of the strongest and most affordable pharmacy program in UAE that is designed to prepare the students to become pharmacy professionals that can effectively deliver pharmaceutical services in any placements they have chosen to work in. That was one of the hardest decisions I have made in my life, and fortunately, I made my decision to join Ajman University. I still remember my first lecture that was ‘Introduction to pharmacy’ course lecture where I did not believe that I am now a pharmacy student and since then I was enjoying all the courses following it. As the years passed I gained more and more information about the field that I have chosen to join. Beside my academic life in AU where it was as I planned it to be, my life as a student was so remarkable were I had the opportunity to meet a lot of new people from different countries and with different personalities, build new friendships that will last forever and share a lot of memories that I won’t forget. Finally, I just want to advice students to follow their dreams and believe in themselves and their dream will become true as mine did.

I have chosen to study Pharmacy at AU as it is offering an accredited B.Pharm degree in the UAE that enables graduates to be engaged in healthcare system in both private and governmental sectors. In addition to its highly deliberated studying program and courses that emphasize not only on theory information, but also on clinical life through the several training programs offered in pharmacies, hospitals and even factories like Julphar.  “The earlier, the better”, from my point of view, finishing studying in 4 years instead of more will increase the opportunity in finding better job as every second counts and the market is getting more complicated and the competition between graduates is getting more intense.

One of the most favorite things I like about my college is the very friendly relationship between me and my doctors as I really feel that they are my friends and I can talk with them whenever I want and fully comfortably not only about studying, but even about many life subjects.

Throughout my academic life in AU, I've figured out that my university is characterized by its clear advantage in balancing student’s lives between studying and entertainment.

Events and activities both scientific like ICPM and entertainment like the global day and sports day and all other types of sports activities are always present throughout the semester. This provides the student a very suitable environment that assures the best psychological state and highest scientific achievement.

Studying in AU gave me the opportunity many times to participate in even external events which was “Taweya 2017” in Abu-Dhabi the most recent one where my friends and I raised the public awareness about the wrong use of antibiotics and gave some informative entertaining lecture about the importance of vitamins for school students of 4th and 5th grade.

AU had a wonderful academic reputation and excellent programme, during my stay I had access to outstanding faculty and resources. Education has given me a solid foundation for my career in healthcare and I'm so glad I made the decision to go there.
